Every child has stories that deserve to be told. Every drawing, every poem, every story is a window into their imagination, a unique way of expressing what they feel and dream.
At Ojos Grandes, we don't want these imaginary worlds to remain locked away in a notebook. That's why we open our doors so that all children can share their creativity. Submitting a story, drawing or poem is a way to participate in our community, show themselves to the world and learn that their voice has value.
It doesn't matter if the lines aren't perfect, if the words don't rhyme or if the drawing goes beyond the edge of the page: what counts is the intention, the emotion and the courage to create and share.
Thus, each story submitted becomes a little treasure, a piece of the world that grows alongside all the others, demonstrating that at Ojos Grandes, every voice and every work has its place.
